Patient Care Assistant I
As our Patient Care Tech at The Woodlands Hospital, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.
Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients' conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well. You know we're all continuously trying to become better care providers, and you're eager to learn.
St. Luke's Health Lakeside Hospital
Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke's Health and a team of specialized physicians- focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine care-in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging including MRI CT and nuclear medicine.

Responsibilities:
* Provide a variety of routine tasks and direct patient care to support our patients and our clinical teams.
* Answer call lights and unit phone to assist with questions and concerns from patients and family members.
* Communicate, monitor and document pertinent patient information
* Assist with admission, transfers, transporting, lifting, and discharge of patients
* Make rounds and respond promptly to patients, families, and clinical team requests.
* Work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Basic Life Support (BLS)
