Overview: We're seeking a Patient Access Representative to support a smooth, accurate, and welcoming experience for patients and visitors. This role plays a key part in patient admission, registration, insurance verification, and scheduling, ensuring every interaction is efficient and compliant with financial and insurance requirements. Responsibilities: * Accurately collect, analyze, and record demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical data in the system, ensuring all required documentation is complete. * Maintain strong knowledge of insurance plans and verification processes. * Answer and route phone calls professionally; take accurate messages. * Educate patients on financial obligations, including point of service (POS) collections and estimates. * Assist with patient selfservice registration processes. * Monitor and manage multiple work queues to ensure timely workflow. * Refer patients who need financial assistance with their clinic/hospital bills to a Financial Advocate * Schedule walk in procedures and collaborate with central scheduling regarding other needs Qualifications: * Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: * At least two years of customer service or healthcare related experience is preferred. License/Certification: * None
