Overview: We're seeking a creative, driven marketing manager to join our Partner Marketing team. Our mission is to deliver an exceptional Avalara experience for partners by supporting them with targeted engagement and compelling marketing resources that help them start, run, and scale their business with us. As the Partner Communications Marketing Manager, you will lead and execute strategic communication initiatives to and about our partners. This role is essential in connecting partners with the information, events, and tools they need to thrive. You'll drive communications through multiple channels, manage partner-facing webinars, and coordinate partner-centric social media strategies in collaboration with internal and external teams. Responsibilities: What you'll do Lead Partner Communications Strategy * Develop and maintain a communications playbook that outlines key messaging objectives, execution channels (email, social media, and partner portal), and engagement best practices. * Collaborate across partner management, partner programs, partner sales, and marketing to establish communications rules of engagement. * Position monthly partner newsletters and updates as a key lever for increasing program awareness and platform adoption. * Execute targeted campaigns to segmented partner audiences and continuously optimize based on engagement data. * Build and manage a communications performance dashboard and deliver monthly updates to stakeholders. Manage and Execute Partner Webinars * Plan, coordinate, and execute partner-facing webinars to educate, enable, and engage our partner ecosystem. * Work cross-functionally to develop content, secure speakers, drive registration, and measure outcomes. * Create follow-up content and reporting to extend the impact of each webinar. Drive Partner Social Media Strategy * Manage and grow our partner-focused social media presence in collaboration with Avalara's social media team and external agencies. * Coordinate social content calendars, campaigns, and partner spotlights that promote engagement and amplify partner successes. * Monitor social metrics to evaluate effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly. Who you'll work with * Collaborate with brand, content, social, and digital teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints. * Engage regularly with partner stakeholders to align messaging with broader strategic goals. * Work closely with internal email operations and partner program teams, as well as an external social media agency, to execute campaigns and events. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. * 4+ years of experience in marketing and communications within a high-growth SaaS or tech environment, with a focus on partner or channel communications. * Proven ability to manage webinars and social media campaigns as part of an integrated communications strategy. * Strong presentation and executive communication skills, with a bias for action and a startup mentality. * Excellent project management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail. * Growth mindset with a passion for learning, embracing challenges, and drawing inspiration from others' success. * Fluent English. * Only resumes in English will be considered. * #LI - Remote
