Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine tours, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post.  Pay Rate: $20.77 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
* Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help support authorized access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity through proper channels.
* Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and following Allied Universal standards along with location-specific policies and procedures.

 Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
