Overview: Founded in 1887, Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities: * All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. * This position is responsible for providing support to families involved in the child welfare or probation systems of care. * Acts as an advocate for the family in all aspects of the Wraparound process. * The Parent Partner provides in-home services and assists families in accessing needed community resources. * Interfaces professionally with DCFS, DMH, court systems, schools and other community liaisons. Qualifications: * A minimum of one-year experience in community outreach and advocacy work preferred. * High School equivalency preferred. * Past consumer of DMH, DCFS, Probation, Regional Center or similar services, successfully transitioned to self-sufficiency. * Bilingual English Spanish language skills required * Familiarity with utilizing a PC and basic computing programs. * A valid California driver's license, use of a car, and certificate of insurance.
