Painter/Carpenter

				Overview:

Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking an experienced Painter/Carpenter to join our team. The Omni PGA Frisco Resort provides north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

This role is responsible for maintaining the general condition of the property.

Responsibilities:

* Able to measure, cut and replace wood finishes. 
* Repair and replace door finishes and hardware. 
* Maintain (paint, stains, wallpaper, etc.) all public and guest room finishes on an on-going basis. 
* Keep the hotel decor in good condition. 
* Clean all work areas after completing job. 
*  Fill out Daily Work form. 
*  Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. 
* Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations. 
* Complete Work requests in Synergy daily. 
* Have the knowledge and ability to use the proper equipment and tools. 
* Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and other emergencies. 
* Answer all guest and associate related Synergy requests  
* Assist with Capital improvement projects.     
* Property improvement projects 

Qualifications:

* 
* 
* The successful candidate must have 2 years of previous experience as a commercial carpenter and painter.  
* Must have flexible availability.  
* Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel and work with paints, stains and trade tools. 
* Attention to detail is important. 
* They must be able to work, possible holiday shifts and weekends. Schedule will vary according to business and operational needs.
