Office schedule: M-Th Office based, Friday remote (Effective September 1, 2025) Responsibilities: Summary: As a Paid Media Specialist, you will assist with execution of paid search strategy for a portfolio ecommerce brands. You'll report to the SEM manager and play a key role in campaign execution, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The Paid Media Specialist role is expected to have high proficiency in entry-level paid search duties, including budgeting & pacing, keyword research and forecasting, campaign building, launches, and reporting on platforms including Google, Microsoft Bing, and Meta. Organizational Impact: By assisting with paid media execution, you will directly influence paid search performance, drive discoverability, and support revenue growth through increased visibility and engagement. Your work will ensure that our digital properties communicate clearly, rank competitively, and reflect the strength and consistency of our brand voice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Support SEM Manager in campaign set up, strategy development, organization, and campaign management * Oversee day-to-day budget management of multiple ad accounts with similar KPI goals, ensuring accurate pacing in accordance with business objectives * Proactively pull and analyze performance reports, providing insight and optimization recommendations surrounding campaign trends, asset performance, and search query data * Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure ad accounts are healthy * Write ad creative based on briefing materials, landing page content, and internal direction * Traffic, upload, QA, and launch ad hoc SEM initiatives * Collaborate with the marketing team to align search strategy with SEO & sales initiatives * Identify opportunities to implement and test new strategies with vendor partners, including Google and Microsoft * Stay current on SEM trends, best practices, and new tools. * Support the content needs of product launches, feature rollouts, and special campaigns * Additional job duties as assigned Skills/Experience Required: * Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or business/finance * 2+ years of hands-on paid search management experience (looking for agency or multi-brand experience) * Proven success managing 6-figure monthly ad spend * Hands-on-keyboard experience with Google and Microsoft Ads, including Google and Microsoft Ads Editor tools * Experience with third party bid management platforms such as SA360, Skai/Kenshoo, Adobe, Optmyzer, etc. * Google & Microsoft Advertising certifications * Expert ability in keyword research, ad copywriting, and bid management * Solid grasp of conversion tracking and digital revenue metrics * Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets * Excellent quantitative skills - this is a data-heavy position that requires analyzing reports * Curiosity about how SEM fits into the broader business picture * A test-and-learn mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment Sarnova is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
