Responsibilities:
Join a high-impact engineering team where you'll lead the development and optimization of packaging solutions for iconic brands. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, improve performance, and partner closely with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams. You'll play a key role in bringing new packaging concepts to life while enhancing existing systems for efficiency, sustainability, and cost.
What You'll Do
* Lead packaging design, testing, and validation to ensure performance, quality, and compliance
* Manage plant trials and collaborate with operations teams to implement new packaging solutions
* Evaluate materials, suppliers, and processes to improve cost, sustainability, and performance
* Develop and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and documentation
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations
Qualifications:
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* 7+ years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or product development
* Strong technical problem-solving and project management skills
* Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams
Preferred:
* Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or beverage manufacturing
* Six Sigma, Lean, or APICS certification
* Experience working with manufacturing or ERP systems
Physical Requirements
* Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
* Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
