				Overview:

This position would by hybrid with the need to be onsite for trainings and meetings.
Must reside in the state of WA, ID, or OR.
Provide leadership, development and operational oversight of the medical staff services, provider recruiting programs, and provider leadership support programs at Confluence Health.

Position Reports To: Chief Medical Officer

Responsibilities:

* Leadership oversight of the provider recruiting team responsible for the recruitment and hiring of physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs), including assisting in the New Physician Welcome program and coordinating the Family Support Network program.

* Develop the standard work and associated training to support teams in recruiting top talent and delivering exceptional processes. Establish formal recruiting metrics and create dashboards as needed.

* Works collaboratively in an interdisciplinary approach to ensure provider concerns are addressed.

* Leadership oversight of the medical staff services team responsible for coordination of the provider and facility credentialing, privileging, expirable tracking, quality review, and enrollment processes for the organization.

* In collaboration with the Chiefs of Staff, develops and implements systems to ensure all Unified Medical Staff Documents adhere to accreditation, licensing and regulatory standards and all requirements and serves as an expert resource regarding current requirements. Oversees support needs for the Chiefs in planning and managing meetings and educational activities related to Medical Staff Operations.

* In collaboration with the Chiefs, Chairs, and Medical Staff Committees, designs, implements and provides ongoing support for the Medical Staff credentialing, privileging reappointment, and enrollment processes and ensures the coordination of an effective system for ongoing professional practice review and focused or initial practice evaluation.

* In collaboration with the CMO, assist in provider leadership support needs, including onboarding, training, webpage resource coordination, and Performance Manager oversite.

* Develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians, managers, administration, staff and vendors.

* Prepares, oversees and ensures compliance with annual department budgets.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelor's Degree.
* 6 years relevant leadership experience including 3 years' experience as a manager.
* A broad knowledge of the provider recruiting, credentialing, privileging, quality review and enrollment processes, including regulatory DOH, NCQA, DNV, CMS, URAC standards.
* Excellent oral and written skills.
* Self-directed and self-motivated skills with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage, multiple priorities and projects from initiation to completion within prescribed schedules and utilization of resources.
* Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).

* Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) within 2 years of hire.

* Position requires travel, must have a current driver's license and clean driving record.
