Overview: * Precision Grinder - Full-Time Position Location: Oakley Street Poughkeepsie NY Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Compensation: $20 an hour Job Description We are seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Precision Grinder to join our team specializing in precision measurement equipment. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with grinding tolerances as tight as .0001", alongside some of the most accomplished professionals in the field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: * Attention to detail * Ability to work independently * Willingness to learn and grow in a technical role * Entry-level grinding experience Responsibilities * Operate manual and production grinding machines * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics * Apply basic math skills to measure and verify tolerances * Perform precision grinding and maintain strict quality standards * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Safely lift components up to 45lbs Requirements * Own transportation * experience reading blueprints * Basic math proficiency * Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with grinding tools * Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
