Overview: SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital - Richmond Heights 1027 Bellevue Avenue, 3rd Floor, St Louis, MO 63117 Full-Time PPS Coordinator (MDS RN) SSM Health Rehabilitation is looking for a Full Time Prospective Payment Systems Coordinator to join our Inpatient Hospital in Richmond Heights, MO! As the leading provider of comprehensive rehabilitation services in the St. Louis area, SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital delivers the specialized care and advanced treatment that enables individuals with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, amputation, joint replacement and other orthopedic trauma, and general medical rehabilitation needs, to rebuild their lives. SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital's three inpatient rehabilitation units are located within acute care hospitals (SSM Health St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis, and SSM Health St. Joe's West in Lake St. Louis) or operate as a stand-alone hospital (the 60-bed SSM Health Bridgeton Hospital in Bridgeton). This wide footprint in the greater St. Louis area provides patients with convenient, on-site access to very specialized medical care during their rehabilitative stay. Responsibilities: Position Summary Coordinates the data collection on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI), ensures the presence of supporting documentation, and provides staff education to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines. Coordinates all efforts for immediate issue resolution concerning GG scoring. Conducts ongoing review of IRF-PAI related data, and assists the PPS Manager with IRF-PAI completion. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications * Current state licensure in nursing (RN) or allied health profession (PT, OT, SLP) required * Minimum of two years experience in rehabilitation or a closely related field required Preferred Experience * Experience with ICD 10 coding preferred * Experience with IRH-PPS preferred
