Responsibilities:

* To be thoroughly acquainted with all technical equipment to fully utilize its capabilities.
* Be familiar with all espresso drink varieties and know how to make them to consistent standards.
* Maintain proper inventory controls utilizing first in, first out method of inventory.
* Ensure all products are made to meet specifications consistently.
* Collect payment to Omni standards.
* Follow health, sanitation, and safety guidelines for all products.
* Maintain your liquor license and serve safe license.
* Use necessary kitchen equipment while following all health and safety standards.
* Adapt to changing food and drink products.
* Prepare, and serve food and beverage offerings.
* Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates.
* Must be effective at listening, understanding, and clarifying guest and associate concerns.
* Must remain professional in all situations.
* Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
* Understand and acknowledgement of proper uniform and grooming standards.
* Ensure the entire 8th Notch space is maintained and cleaned throughout the shift.
* Assist with monthly inventory.
* Interact with other departments to ensure guest needs are satisfied.
* Adhere to all policies regarding employee purchases.
* Follow procedures for all receipts and returns.
* Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the guests experience.
* Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
* Restock Cooler

Qualifications:

* Weekend Availability Required.
* Previous coffee house and/or hotel experience preferred.
* Previous cash handling and face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
* Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests.
* Ability and accurately and efficiently input information in Simphony.
* Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
* Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
* Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment.
* Must maintain serve safe and liquor license.
* Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
* Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
* Requires repetitive motion, with consistent use of hands and arms.
* Must adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
