Responsibilities:

* Must be atleast 21 years of age
* Must posess a high school diploma or equivalent
* Efficiently and accurately processes all pari-mutuel wages in the tote system.Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to guests.
*  Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and regulations.
* Write Sports tickets in an accurate and timely manner.
* Create and enter player tracking cards.
* Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs.
* Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary.
* Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash-handling policies and procedures.
* Process cash transactions for gaming customers and employees (Includes cashing TITO tickets, personal checks, markers, traveler's checks, lottery tickets, exchange currency, and processing cash advance transactions).
* Be knowledgeable and comply with Title 31 regulations.
* Enroll patrons into the loyalty program, issue patrons loyalty program player cards, maintain accurate player tracking information, answer questions about patron's accounts, and assist the Marketing Department with all gaming promotions.
* Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the draw amount.
* Completes a blind drop on all revenues collected during the shift.
* Operates assigned bank or window according to department and regulatory guidelines.
* Completes all required shift paperwork according to internal control standards.
* Records any applicable cash transactions that are required by Federal Law
* Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and

Qualifications:

*  General cashiering background or prior money handling experience preferred.

*  Previous experience in race and sportsbook preferred.

*  Working knowledge of sports.

*  Knowledge of tote system to place customer bets.

*  Must have previous experience with jet sort, coin roller, check cashing and credit card cash advance systems.

*  Efficiency and accuracy when entering guests wagers and paying out winners.

*  Variances within standards according to department variance policy.

*  Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.

*  Ability to learn and comply with department, property and regulatory policy and procedure.

*  Other duties, as needed.
