Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
* Maintain balanced cashier's station.
* Process cash transactions for gaming customers and employees (Includes cashing TITO tickets, personal checks, markers, traveler's checks, lottery tickets, exchange currency, and processing cash advance transactions).
* Process expanded cashing lottery tickets through the lottery site, $600-$5,000, and any applicable paperwork.
* Offer and process applications for the mychoice Mastercard credit card.
* Be knowledgeable and comply with Title 31 regulations.
* Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the ACES Service Program.
* Enroll patrons into mychoice, issue patrons mychoice player cards, maintain accurate player tracking information, answer questions about patron's accounts, and assist the Marketing Department with all gaming promotions.
* Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette.
* Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
* Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
* Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
* Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
* Other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
* Must be 21 Years of age or older.
* Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* A minimum of one year of cashiering and experience and/or money handling experience.
* Able to promptly and accurately follow instructions given by Supervisor or Manager.
* Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
* Must be able to navigate multiple computer programs.
* Must be able to pass background check and credit check.
* Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
* Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Must enjoy hosting others.
* Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
* Must have outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
