Responsibilities: GFT is seeking a PCI Level II Certified Precast Concrete Inspector to join our team in Hopkinton, MA and the surrounding area. In this position, you will report to construction sites, ensuring that contractors' work adheres to contract requirements. You'll perform hands-on inspections at precast plants and in the field, verify that materials and production meet specifications, and support quality control efforts across multiple projects. What you'll be challenged to do: If you're looking for a hands-on role that expands your experience in the precast concrete industry, consider joining our field inspection team. As a PCI Level II Inspector, you'll support a variety of infrastructure and structural projects by performing in-plant and field inspections for precast concrete components. You'll work closely with production crews, field personnel, and quality teams to ensure products meet contract requirements and industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical knowledge while supporting projects that shape the built environment across Massachusetts. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * Perform routine quality checks during precast production * Observe concrete placement, curing, and finishing * Measure and record key dimensions and tolerances * Verify materials and components meet specifications * Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation * Communicate findings with plant staff and quality teams * Travel to assigned plants and field sites Qualifications: What you will bring to our firm: * PCI Level II Certification * ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I * At least 2 years of experience in precast concrete or field inspection work * Familiarity with precast manufacturing environments * Comfortable working around heavy equipment and active production * Good observation and documentation skills * Based in or near Hopkinton, MA, with the ability to travel to regional plant sites Compensation: The salary range for this role is $72,000 - $93,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
