Responsibilities:
* Product owner of Printed Circuit Assemblies (PCA)to participates actively in new product introduction and continuous product enhancement project, including influencing/improve the design of the product to ensure manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain, enabling prototyping during first turn on, testing/validate the reliability of prototypes performance, quality, and reliability of PCA level as well as managing the transition into Mass production.
* Determines and develops effective approaches to solve PCA technical issues.
* Improves PCA products, processes, and components to meet agreed-upon product performance objectives.
* Redesign PCA products or LLM components to meet cost objectives, component technology obsolescence and customer requirements.
* Supports and implements the transition of PCA products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production and stabilize/improve the PCA level quality/reliability issue sustaining period of NPI/CPE project.
* Partners with procurement and technical services to improve the PCA products and processes.
* Perform PCA troubleshooting, repairing and provide disposition in situation of excessive failure during NPI stage or during escalation.
* Direct the work of third-party vendors and/or partners to meet contract specified deliverables, performance, or business objectives.
* Work with suppliers to ensure achievement of goals for PCA cost, quality and delivery of parts and materials.
* Identify and manage PCA ERP data such as bill of material and routing.
* Supports quality team and partners for customer feedback on out-of-box defects. Perform investigation and failure analysis on defective return.
* Other manufacturing Engineering duties expected of this position include process documentation, managing engineering change orders, resolving internal and external quality issues, support quality system and ISO standards audits.
* Create technical documentation.
* Review/Evaluate and participate in setting production line specifications based on statistical data analysis.
* Manage and guide the transition of products and manufacturing processes into production and through the entire life cycle of the product.
* Manage instrument hardware and the measurement, characterization and calibration processes used during the CPE project development phase and into production.
Qualifications:
* Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree in Engineering discipline in Electrical & Electronic Engineering .
* Knowledge and skill set of analog/digital circuit design ( e.g. op-amp, ADC/DAC, power management, SRAM/DDR, etc.) , FPGA application and ASIC.
* This job requires hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic skills as well as some experimental design/setup data collection and analysis to meet the clear objective & time bound requirement.
* Accountable, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Must be detail-oriented and ability to connect the dots in a dynamic environment.
* Must be able to be effectively communicate & present with all levels and cross functional team.
* Self-motivated and able to take direction on high-level objectives and create/execute project plans.
* Background in hands-on debug and validation experience in a lab environment.
* Strong experience in reading and understanding electrical schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
