Overview: Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a PBX Agent for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa! We are proud to announce that we are ranked among the best resorts in Texas: Top 5 Resorts in the Southwest Conde Nast Traveler and Top 5 Resorts in Texas Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards 2024 Responsibilities: As PBX: * Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls * Direct phone calls to appropriate Personnel * Assist all guests and associates * Omni Prompt Response Help Line * Wake-up calls * Responding to guest requests * Learn and disseminate basic hotel information * Empathetically listen to guest inquiries and provide appropriate responses Qualifications: * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone * Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems * Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department * Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations * Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions * Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up * Ability to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time * Previous customer service experience * Previous hotel PBX/front desk experience is strongly preferred * Previous cashiering experience is preferred * Previous guest relations training is preferred * Must be able to work flexible shifts including overnights, weekends, and holidays Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - veterans/disability.
