Responsibilities: The Painter Maintenance paints walls, equipment, buildings, bridges, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. The incumbent removes old paint to prepare surfaces prior to painting and mixes colors to obtain desired color or consistency. Work Model: Onsite Qualifications: Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork, and fixtures of an establishment. * Assesses surface peculiarities and specific preparation for various types of paint required for different applications including, metal, wood, concrete, sheetrock, and epoxy-based coatings. * Prepares surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes and interstices and applying paint with spray gun or brush. * May mix colors, oils, and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency. * Other duties as assigned.
