Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a part of the Pacific Northwest Division of CommonSpirit, is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled APP (NP or PA) to  join our esteemed Gyn/Onc team in Silverdale, WA.  

Position Overview

This is a newly created position for development of the Gyn Onc program at St Michael Medical Center. You will be supporting a Gyn Onc surgeon in clinic, OR and hospital rounding.  We provide evidenced-based women's healthcare services to Silverdale and surrounding communities.  

Candidates must be hardworking, compassionate, and dedicated to providing superior patient care. Our group serves in one of the most rapidly growing areas in the country. Living in the Puget Sound Region provides for active city life, but still offers plenty of outdoor adventures. You can choose between city living and the suburbs.

Hospital Overview

St. Michael's is a 386 bed, Level III trauma center located in Silverdale, WA.  SMMC's new campus opened in 2020 and features state of the art technology and ecological design.  

In this role you will be part of a high energy, hardworking, tight knit team that creates a supportive and fun work environment. The position is located at St. Michael Medical Center in Kitsap County. It is on the Peninsula where you'll be surrounded by water in every direction, mountains, beautiful landscapes, and fresh air! This is a great place to visit or live for those outdoor enthusiasts. Lots of outdoor activities that include hiking, biking, kayaking, and whale watching! The hospital is on a beautiful campus built in 2020 with plans to expand this year. There are views of the Olympic mountains to the west and nearby walking & hiking trails. If you prefer to venture off into the city on your days off Seattle is just a ferry ride away.

Qualifications:

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner or PA program

* 1-2 years of surgical first assist experience preferred

* Experience in Gyn and/or Oncology is preferred

* Licensed in the state of WA as an ARNP or PA by the time of employment

* Board certified by the time of employment

* DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority

* Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
