At SoftwareOne, global leader in software and cloud solutions, we are powered by our people. We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner for the Iberia Region (Spain & Portugal) to join our People & Culture team and help drive engagement, organizational effectiveness, and sustainable growth. In this role, you will provide strategic insights on workforce planning, talent retention, and engagement to ensure the organization's structure supports its growth. You will also collaborate closely with senior leaders and the Regional P&C Leader to align business goals with P&C strategies and operational plans.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnership
* Collaborate with the Regional P&C Leader to drive organizational design initiatives that support business growth and efficiency
* Provide expert guidance to P&C Business Partners on best practices for managing organizational change and team dynamics
* Partner with P&C Business Partners to analyze regional data and feedback, identify trends, and provide recommendations that enhance engagement, retention, and the overall effectiveness of P&C programs
* Develop recognition programs aligned to foster a culture of appreciation and connection across business units
* Serve as a point of contact for complex employee relations issues, guiding leaders in handling conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and other sensitive matters
* Ensure consistent application of P&C policies, tools, and frameworks across business units
* Lead change management efforts within the region, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational transformations
Partnering with CoE in P&C
* Partner with CoE leads to provide feedback on regional or business unit needs to inform and influence the global programs
* Oversee the implementation of CoE initiatives within the region, supporting P&C Business Partners in designing tailored CoE strategies to meet the unique needs of their respective business units
Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in HR Business Partner roles, including several years in a fully autonomous, stand-alone position, and established experience operating at a country or regional HR BP level
* In-depth knowledge of employment laws, P&C best practices, and regional compliance standards
* Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis tools, and reporting frameworks
* Business acumen, understanding of financial drivers within a business environment, including but not limited to P&L and budget management at a regional and country level as applicable
* Experience of working in a Matrix environment
* Good understanding of all Microsoft Office applications (or similar) including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Knowledge of the Portuguese labour framework and employment legislation is desirable
* Effective leader and coach, skilled at inspiring teams and influencing stakeholders through excellent communication and relationship-building
* Results-oriented strategist with expertise in guiding operational plans, supporting employee engagement, talent development, and changing management initiatives
