We're hiring Overnight Front Desk Agents/Night Auditors to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!

Job Summary:

The lights may dim - but our service never sleeps. That's where you come in. As our Overnight Front Desk Agent, you're the calm in the storm, the friendly face in the wee hours, and the spreadsheet hero behind the scenes.

If you're a night owl with a knack for numbers, processes, love helping late-arriving guests, and don't mind keeping an eye on the place while the world sleeps, this could be your perfect gig.

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: May through September 2026 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $16.00/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40-45 hours, 4-10 hour shifts per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:

* Greet and check-in late-night guests with a smile (even at 2:00 am).
* Register and assigns rooms to guests.
* Handle overnight front desk operations like a solo pro - phones, walk-ins, alarms, and all.
* Run nightly audit reports, balance availability, and make sure the day ends in black.
* Prepare and distribute reports for management.
* Block and prepare group packets for incoming arrivals.
* Monitor hotel security, guest safety, and overall calmness of the night.
* Assist with setting up coffee, wake-up calls, and special guest requests.
* Restock supplies at the desk and keep the lobby and public bathrooms looking tidy.
* Be the go-to problem solver for anything that pops up during the overnight hours.
* Assist guests with making or canceling reservations at other locations within the park.   
* Accurately follow cash handling procedures and secure bank at all times.
* Answer inquires pertaining to the hotel services and park locations.
* Prepare reports, statements, folios, and key envelopes for following day. 
* Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Friendly, outgoing personality with a "Yes, absolutely!" attitude.
* Friendly and calm under pressure - you're the night shift.
* Demonstrate strong and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and think on your feet.
* Tech-savvy enough to use front desk software and troubleshoot a guest room key issue.
* Reliability and professionalism - you're on time, organized, and ready to roll .
* Passion for people and love of hospitality.
* Must be flexible and adaptable to different changes and have good decision-making skills. 
* Requires strong computer skills to operate Opera Property Management Software (PMS).
* Knowledge of basic math skills.
* Must exhibit outstanding organization and time management skills, goal oriented, and comfortable working in pressure situations. 
* Strong attention to detail and comfort working independently (may work a few hours with others in shift overlaps)
* Someone who thrives in a quiet environment but stays alert and guest focused.
* Able to sleep during the day even when the world is awake.
* Able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, overnights, and occasional guest emergencies.

Experience: 

* Previous customer service or hospitality experience is a big plus but not required.
* Previous hotel or front desk experience is a big plus, especially with PMS systems.

Physical Requirements include:

* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, as well as perform tasks that may require walking and standing. 
* Must be able to lift, carry, and transport luggage or equipment if needed.
