Overview: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (one day per week) Join our team as a Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care across our health system. In this position, you will function as a pharmacist in accordance with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to a diverse patient population. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise through a variety of assignments and projects led by the Trinity Pharmacy Manager, all while working in a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values clinical excellence and professional growth. Responsibilities: * Creates and maintains patient profiles within the pharmacy system * Review's medication profiles with each prescription fill * Ensures appropriate and adequate medication inventory of controlled and non-controlled medications * Verifies the accuracy of order entry and product dispensing * Ensures proper medication handling and storage * Prioritizes tasks to increase department efficiency Qualifications: Education: * B.S. Degree in Pharmacy required * Doctor of Pharmacy preferred Experience: * Pharmacist experience of 3 years or more required * Retail Pharmacy experience preferred License(s)/Certification(s): * Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required. * Current License to practice Pharmacy in the state of Iowa required.
