Overview: Outpatient Pharmacist Fort Dodge, IA Day Shift, Part-time, 8 hours per week Functions as a pharmacist as defined by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy. Responsible for providing all aspects of pharmaceutical care for patients served within our health system. Responsibilities: * Responsible for clinical and operational pharmacy functions, including patient profile management, medication review, order verification, dispensing accuracy, and inventory control. * Ensures proper medication handling, storage, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, DNV, OSHA, and state/federal guidelines). * Prioritizes workflow to support efficient department operations. * Provides patient counseling on medications and new prescriptions. * Supervises pharmacy technicians and oversees department operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager. Qualifications: Education: B.S. Degree in Pharmacy required. Doctor of Pharmacy preferred. Experience: Pharmacist experience of 3 years or more required. Retail Pharmacy experience preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons required. Current License to practice Pharmacy in the state of Iowa required.
