The core hours for this role is Monday-Friday 0800-1630 and it will be salary. Flexibility is expected for early morning coordination meetings, late-day case reviews, or multidisciplinary team activities.

Qualifications:

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified nursing candidates will need the following:

Education Requirements

* Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
* Master's Degree preferred

Experience Requirements

* Five years experience in Care Coordination and Orthopedics
* Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably within orthopedics, surgery, perioperative services, or musculoskeletal care

* Demonstrated experience in care coordination, quality improvement, or case management

* Strong communication, organizational, and interdepartmental collaboration skills

* Requires advance knowledge in nursing, evidence-based practice methods, and person-centered care concepts
* Knowledge of regulatory compliance and requirements

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with orthopedic navigation or program development

* Familiarity with accreditation standards for Centers of Excellence (e.g., The Joint Commission, DNV, etc.)

* Proficiency in Epic workflows and clinical documentation pathways

* Demonstrated leadership in quality or performance improvement initiatives

* Ability to serve as liaison between orthopedic surgeons, patients, and multidisciplinary care teams

Licenses/Certification Requirements

* RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association.
* Certification in applicabale professional clinical specialty or nursing administration required upon hire or within 6 months (such as CNML)

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
