Job Description: Public school teaching positions have the benefit of a light teaching load. You will only have about 16 to 24 classes over a five-day week. Most of the openings do not require office hours, which means you'll have plenty of time to pursue other interests, or to take on private tuition. Job Title: Oral English Teacher (Grades 1-12) Locations: Chengdu & the Greater Sichuan Region Responsibilities: *15-20 classes weekly (40-45 minutes each); no more than 20-hours per week *Teaching oral English, preparing class activities, preparing oral exams for students *Teach classes of 30-60 students *Monday - Friday (weekends off) *No office hours are required, but attendance of school activities is mandatory Requirements: *Native English speaker from United States, Canada, UK, Australia or New Zealand *Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university *TEFL/TESOL certification *A clean criminal record *Excellent physical and mental health *Must be able to commit to a one-year contract (School year runs from September 1 - June 30) PLUS: *Sociable, positive and hard-working *Culturally inquisitive *Looking for a challenge Minimum Qualifications: *Passport holder from a native English speaking country *Bachelor's degree or higher; original copy needed *TEFL/TESOL will be a plus; original copy needed *For those who have less than two years' working experience after university graduation, TEFL/TESOL(120 hours) is necessary Remuneration: *Monthly pay is CNY 6,500 to 9,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) *Free accommodation, or housing allowance *Free lunch during work days *About one-month holiday for winter vacation and two-months for summer vacation (unpaid) *Paid Chinese public holidays *CNY 5,000 airfare reimbursement(payable upon completion of a one-year contract; receipt required) *After fulfilling the complete contract year, Z visa expense will be reimbursed (Z visa expense invoice needed) How to apply: If you are interested in applying for this position, we kindly request you prepare the following materials: *Your resume/CV *A recent photograph *Scan copy of your passport information page *Scan copies of your degree and TEFL/TESOL certificates *Your current location and preferred start date Due to the volume of applications received, please understand it may not be possible for the company to contact each candidate individually.
