Overview:
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Oracle EPM Cloud Technical Consultant to work in a hybrid capacity with the DC Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Candidates located in the DMV area will be expected to report onsite 2 days per week. Remote candidates based in the U.S. will be considered, but preference may be given to those within commuting distance of Washington, D.C. This position supports a mission-critical budgeting and reporting platform for a large public-sector organization.
Responsibilities:
* Design and develop business rules using Groovy for Financials, Workforce, Projects, and custom cubes.
* Build and maintain data integrations using EPM Data Management, Data Exchange, and FDMEE.
* Develop and support integrations between Oracle EPM Planning and ERP systems, including Oracle ERP Cloud and PeopleSoft.
* Configure and deploy EPM Planning forms, workflows, dimensional models, navigation, and approval processes.
* Design and implement Narrative Reporting components, including reports, packages, and doclets for budget books and annual reports.
* Configure and support Financial Close and Consolidation modules integrated with Oracle ERP General Ledger.
* Develop Groovy and Python scripts utilizing REST API and EPM Automate to extract, transform, and load data.
* Debug and resolve Oracle Planning issues in coordination with Oracle Support.
* Assess potential changes and implement solutions to mitigate negative outcomes.
* Provide ongoing technical support throughout the full software development life cycle (SDLC).
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
* 12+ years of technical experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion, EPBCS, and Planning applications.
* 12+ years of experience developing planning forms, data management integrations, business rules, and reports.
* 8+ years of experience with Oracle EPM modules including Financials, Workforce, and Projects.
* 8+ years of experience supporting Oracle ERP Budgetary Control and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules.
* 8+ years of experience with Financial Close and Consolidation modules and annual report creation.
* 8+ years of experience developing Groovy-based business rules and utilizing EPM Automate and REST API.
* 8+ years of experience with Python scripting for Oracle EPM automation and data processing.
* Experience implementing at least three large-scale Oracle Hyperion or EPM Cloud solutions for public-sector clients.
* Strong foundation in computer science principles including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
