Responsibilities:
* Description of duties and responsibilities:
* Assist Process Excellence Engineers with workshops, process analysis, and project management
* Assist Digital Manufacturing Engineers with Kanoa MES maintenance and deployments, OT network set up, and project management
* Assist Automation Engineers with equipment evaluation and project management
* Time studies
* Methods analysis and improvement
* Process Sequence Flow Mapping
* Utilize simulation software to analyze current processes
* Layout work (equipment and work station)
* Lean, Kaizen, 6S and Value Stream Mapping activities
* Identify 8 wastes in processes and engage with shop floor associates during improvement activities
Qualifications:
Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:
* Basic experience with data analysis, methods and graphing.
* Creative problem-solving skills.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with a special emphasis on Excel
Education and experience required:
Must be pursuing a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering, or other relevant Engineering discipline, from an ABET-accredited program, and have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year before beginning this co-op rotation.
