The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for an Operations Manager. 

This position can be home-based.

 This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, grant-funded opportunity. Current funding will expire on 6/30/2029, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager works closely with the National Sr. Director of Lifelong Learning as well as the Senior Managers and Program Leads of Professional Education on all Healthcare Professional content development and delivery processes; and coordinates closely with web development, and the program managers on all marketing and logistic activities to support both the Association education and the Association marketing and presence.

* Oversee requests for product IDs and content requests for builds on the Professional Education Hub.
* Work with the program managers to create collateral and review all collateral (digital and physical) for adherence to Association policies and Accreditation guidelines (if applicable).
* Coordinate with other Lifelong Learning staff, professional education's collateral, and serve as liaison with Integrated Marketing and Web Development.
* Mange program-related vendors, including those who handle case-based outcomes, simulations, those who develop and host program websites or activities, and those who are responsible for slide set production, learner engagement, and website design.
* Develop program materials, including handouts, resource sheets, infographics, etc. in coordination with program managers and Science Advisory Panel Members.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum Three (3) years of the following experience:
* Strong and proven project management skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Excellent attention to detail and taking responsibility for projects and actions as well as anticipation of next steps is crucial.

* Appreciation for the creative content, understanding how the medical education, adult learning, and clinical practice guidelines connect to bigger department and Association goals, and being able to own those connections and develop new ideas as understanding develops.

Preferred Qualification:

* Minimum one (1) year of experience with continuing medical professional education, social media, marketing efforts, and/or branding requirements.
* Marketing experience preferred.
