City Ambulance, owned and supported by Global Medical Response just celebrated its 50th Year Anniversary. We are a community based ambulance service covering the large rural county that is very involved in the community.
We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives aligned with GMR's values and goals. This on-site leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple departments-including network and care coordination-ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support local teams to meet operational, financial, and compliance objectives.
* Analyze market trends and align services to meet customer demand.
* Oversee budgets, contracts, and business development initiatives.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery to agencies, hospitals, and the medical community.
* Direct clinical management and continuous quality improvement efforts.
* Manage recruitment, retention, and performance of team members.
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, EEO, and other regulatory standards.
* Promote best practices and integrate new operational strategies.
* Oversee disaster planning, risk management, and inventory control.
* Interact with other emergency relief providers: public and private.
* Negotiate contract provisions and modification
* Ensure continuous quality improvement through clinical management, communications center, and protocol interaction.
* Prepare and analyze financial and other data reports
Key Qualifications
* Experience:
* Minimum 3 years of general management experience (preferred).
* Minimum 2 years of EMS experience (preferred).
* Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field (preferred).
* Skills:
* Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
* Financial acumen and operational planning.
* Contract negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
* Knowledge of healthcare operations and compliance standards.
