Overview:
Title: Operations Analyst
Department: Patient Throughput and Logistical Center
Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Provides operational and financial support across multiple Nursing units in order to achieve and maximize unit efficiency; work with nursing leaders to plan, strategize and coordinate the health services across several units. Acts as a liaison to other departments for the implementation of new projects, creates reports to analyze operational effectiveness, works to reach financial goals and maintains budgets.
Qualifications:
* Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors degree in business or health care administration, finance, accounting or other related area.
* Experience: Minimum of three years business experience, required. Healthcare experience, preferred.
* Additional Skills (required): Need to understand hospital economics, labor relations, and financial reporting. Due to the intense paper work and staff interaction, it is important to have strong verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to work well with a variety of professionals, as well as able to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail required. Strong computer skills necessary. Must be able to secure and maintain private and confidential information.
