Overview: CHI Health St. Francis was established in Grand Island, Neb. in 1887. Today, our hospital is a regional referral center, with more than 100 physicians and more than 1,100 team members working together to build a healthier community. Our goal is to provide patients with high-quality medical care close to home, where they can be supported by their family, friends, and community. Responsibilities: $10,000 Sign on Bonus Up to $10,000 in Education Assistance Available * Assist surgeon and surgical team in the OR * Care for patients before, during, and after procedures * Develop and implement nursing care plan for surgical patients * Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies * Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients Qualifications: We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Registered Nurse with top-notch clinical skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. It is also important to display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively educate patients and their families on the in-home healthcare process. Additional requirements for this role include: * Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state * Graduate of an accredited nursing program * Operating Room experience as a Registered Nurse required * Basic Life Support (BLS) required * Specialty certification (ex: CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred * ACLS and PALS may be required within 6 months of hire
