Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Summer Intern for the beautiful Interlocken Hotel! 

If you love hospitality, creating amazing customer experiences, and the structure and benefits that come from working with a hotel company then you will love working with Omni! 

Omni Interlocken Hotel is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our outstanding HR team! This vital role will work closely with the Director of Human Resources to execute all operations relating to the HR, resulting in high levels of associate satisfaction. This is a unique hands on training opportunity for someone to learn various aspects of the human resources.  Omni Care Interns are provided a summer internship opportunity that will result in acceptance into our LID (Leader in Development) program at the end of the summer season based upon performance.

We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who love contributing to a winning team. If you have or are pursuing a degree in hospitality or a Human Resources, we would love to speak with you about this role.

Salary range for this position (based on experience): $22.00/hour. Intern Associates may be eligible for select benefits based on number of hours worked. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities:

* 
* Able to work office hours 8am/8:30am-4:30pm
* Assist with various Employee enagagement oppurtunities (Filing, Recruitment, Training, Auditing etc.)   
* Attend to and anticipate internal guest's needs ( our associates) 
* Demonstrate excellent teamwork and high attention to detail
* Ability to learn and use multiple HR systems
* Attend monthly Omni Care Internship training and enrichment seminars (summer season)
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment with a upbeat can-do attitude 
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Leadership

Qualifications:

* 
* 
* Strong communication skills - both written and verbal required
* Spanish skills not required, but preferred 
* Strong customer service skills 
* Previous experience in a customer service position preferred  
* Willingness to learn and take on different projects 
* Ability to adapt to changing priorties, answer phone and respond to emails
* Must be able to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean during daily business for extended periods of time.
