				Overview:

Position Title: Office Manager

Location: Homestead area of Pittsburgh

Salary: $50,700 annually 

Work Schedule: The usual work week is 37.5 hours and can require occasional evening and weekend hours. The schedule is designed to meet program and consumer needs

Primary Purpose of Position: Manages and coordinates administrative and support functions-including front desk reception, registration and records--for multiple programs within a site to ensure excellent customer and staff services and efficient and effective office operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Oversee administrative functions (registration, scheduling, insurance, records) for multiple programs.
* Assign tasks and manage performance of Customer Service Representatives.
* Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Maintain office operations, equipment, supplies, and support treatment staff.
* Perform CSR duties and assist with audits, inspections, and training.
* Collaborate with billing staff to resolve issues and track service data.
* Ensure proper filing and update of medical records and insurance information.
* Track authorizations, update rosters, and initiate abatement for uninsured consumers.

Qualifications:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Three (3) or more years of administrative assistant experience
* At least two (2) years of experience supervising and developing staff or volunteers
* PA State criminal, FBI, and child abuse clearances required
* Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening

Additional Qualifications: 

* Accuracy Required: Ensure accurate documentation, medical records, insurance authorizations, and special projects for billing and compliance.
* Consequence of Error: Inaccurate work may result in revenue loss or jeopardize program licensure.
* Position Contacts: Communicate effectively with consumers, family members, co-workers, outside providers, and the public.
* Physical Effort: Requires walking, lifting office supplies, reading, legible handwriting, clear speech, hearing, and typing; must walk up/down stairs.
* Work Environment: Professional office; potential exposure to communicable diseases; yearly training and precautionary testing required.
* Equipment Used: Copier, telephone, fax machine/scanner, and computer.
* Safety for Others: Make sound decisions impacting safety, report unsafe conditions, and utilize emergency services when needed.
