Overview: The Office Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support, including managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and assisting with general inquiries. The role ensures efficient office operations, maintains accurate records, and coordinates with patients and healthcare teams to ensure timely and efficient service. The role manages office supplies, responds to phone calls, and supports staff with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily workflows and clear communication. Responsibilities: Assists with patient check-in/check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients. Coordinates with patients and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate scheduling of diagnostic procedures and future appointments. Responds to inquiries, provides information, and addresses concerns promptly while adhering to confidentiality guidelines, policies, and procedures. Greets patients and guests in a professional manner, directing them to appropriate departments and services. Verifies patient insurance information and assists patients with insurance questions, billing inquiries, and coverage details. Maintains positive relationships with patients, caregivers, community partners, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up. Provides clerical support for all front desk functions of the department, ensuring smooth daily operations. Manages office supplies and inventory, ordering items as needed to ensure the office is well-stocked and organized. Coordinates and schedules appointments, meetings, and events for staff members, ensuring all details are handled in a timely manner. Assists in preparing, filing, and maintaining accurate records and documents, including patient registrations and timely submission of charges for services, ensuring easy access to information. Responds to phone calls, takes referrals, and schedules appointments in a manner that promotes efficient patient care. Supports staff with various administrative tasks, including preparing reports, data entry, and updating contact lists or calendars as needed. Qualifications: One year of experience in a customer service, clerical, or administrative role. Required Experience working in a healthcare setting. Preferred Valid driver's license when operating any vehicle for work-related purposes. Required
