Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Per Diem in Virginia Beach and Suffolk, VA

SelectKids in VA Beach is seeking local occupational therapists (OT) for as needed coverage in our dedicated pediatric centers. We have a pediatric location in Virginia Beach and a satellite center in the Harbour View area of Suffolk that will need coverage. There is no set schedule with PRN or per diem. This gives flexibility for coverage based on vacation, emergencies and/or caseload influx. It is ideal for those seeking additional hours treating pediatrics in their community.

We have a cohesive, multidisciplinary team of clinicians treating a diverse outpatient and early intervention population. Our large cohesive pediatric team consists of PT OT and SLPs treating diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, torticollis, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding delays, speech and language delays and more. We provide outpatient services in the cities of VA Beach and Suffolk as well as early intervention services throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Pediatric experience is required with this position but does include new graduate OTs with pediatric clinical internships, preferably outpatient and early intervention. If interested, we have the opportunity for you to treat adult patients providing cognitive, executive functioning and ADL therapy.

You must be able to complete Virginia Early Intervention certification via free online webinar with valid driver's license and reliable transportation for early intervention home visits and travel between pediatric locations.

We are open from 8am until 630pm Monday through Thursday and 8am until 330pm on Friday and would seek an OT able to provide coverage, as needed, during our hours of operation.

We do have full time hours also available, inquire with our Regional Recruiter, Shanel!
