Located in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Chandler, the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 429-bed, not-for-profit hospital with more than 2,600 team members and almost 1,000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999, but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center, a Heart and Vascular Center, a Wound Healing Center, a Family Birth Center and many additional services. Dignity Health Chandler Regional, Mercy Gilbert, and Arizona General Hospital Mesa awarded $422,000 in grants to support five community projects led by 15 local organizations. Since 1991, Dignity Health's Community Health Improvement Grants program has provided $91 million to nearly 3,800 health projects, focusing on vulnerable and underserved populations.

Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain independence and quality of life so they can safely perform daily activities.

Every day you will assess diverse patients (orthopedic, neurological, sensory, cancer recovery, etc.), develop treatment plans, and conduct evaluations/re-evaluations. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document thoroughly, and provide positive, motivating care to a high volume of patients.

* Meets or exceeds the productivity standard on an individual basis.
* Meets or exceeds the productivity standard at the department level.
* Completes documentation of treatment minutes and enters electronic charges accurately and timely.
* Participates in continuing education and develops advanced skills that enhance and align with department, clinical and business development.
* Participates on internal/external task force, committee or board appropriate to diagnostic program per manager approval.
* Completes general and specialty competencies appropriate to clinical area for patient care management (General, ICU, FIM, DBS, Lung Transplant, Behavior management, MBS, FEES, etc).

Qualifications:

Required

* Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and Internship or rotation in appropriate clinicalsetting, upon hire and
* Occupational Therapist: AZ, upon hire and
* Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Preferred

* Masters Other in appropriate clinical area and 2 years progressive experience in clinical area, performing patient clinical care, upon hire or
* Doctorate Of Science in appropriate clinical area, upon hire
