Overview: Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist (PRN/ Per- Diem) Location: NovaCare Havre de Grace, MD Compensation: $50.00 - $55.00 /Hr. Incentives: In-person and online CEU Courses NOVACARE in Havre de Grace, Maryland, is seeking local Hand Therapists (Occupational Therapists) for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with at least 2 years of hand therapy experience, including splinting and splint fabrication. Additional hand therapists on staff. Schedule: As needed, per diem hours for coverage. Our center is open as early 7A closing at 7P Monday through Friday. Steady hours may be possible as our referrals grow. Shanel Green NovaCare Rehabilitation 610-223-5944 Cell ssgreen@selectmedical.com Responsibilities: * Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. * High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). * Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. * Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: * Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy * CPR certification * Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: * At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic * Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
