Overview: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy Specialist Location: 1499 6th Street NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881 Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours Salary: Starting at $72,000+/year, based on experience Incentives: * $10,000 sign-on bonus * Student loan assistance: $350/month indefinitely We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with a focus in Hand Therapy for our outpatient orthopedic center in Winter Haven, FL. Who Should Apply: * Newly licensed OTs with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy * OTs with 1+ year of current hand therapy experience * Certified Hand Therapists (CHT) - preferred but not required Caseload Includes: * Tendon injuries * Sprains and strains * Post-operative fractures * Splinting experience preferred What We Offer: * Fully equipped facility for post-surgical, non-operative, and work conditioning patients * Collaboration with experienced hand surgeons * Access to a growing national Hand Therapy program * Mentorship available for CHT preparation Responsibilities: * Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers. * Develop treatment plans, supervise assistants and aides, contribute to case management, and provide quality patient care. * Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. * Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). Qualifications: * Must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy. * National registration and state licensure or registration REQUIRED to start. * Newly licensed OT graduates with level 2 fieldwork in hand therapy and Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year current hand therapy * Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. * Valid state driver's license
