Seize the opportunity to join our highly trained and respected Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation team whose mentors provide training across the continuum of rehabilitative services to help improve the quality of life for people affected by physical disabilities or disorders.
Responsibilities:
Fellowship Structure & Learning Experience
This 1-year fellowship enhances therapists' skills in advanced-level practice and prepares them for the AOTA Board Certification in Physical Rehabilitation (BCPR) exam.
Fellows will complete:
* Four 12-week rotations with clinical teams at our inpatient rehabilitation facility
* Four 1-week observational rotations across rehabilitation continuum of care.
* One 3 credit hours course from Texas Woman's University's School of Occupational Therapy (co-sponsor of the program)

Qualifications:
* Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program (required)
* Valid TX Occupational Therapy License (required)
* American Heart Association BLS CPR (required within 30 days of employment)
* Candidates with 1 to 3 years' experience highly desirable, six months of prior OT experience strongly preferred; relevant fieldwork experience in in-patient rehabilitation may be considered
