Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced certified hand therapist to join our hand therapy team at our Federal Way or Seattle location.

In this role, you will work in a fast paced, outpatient hand clinic alongside hand surgeons, hand PA-Cs, and CHTs. You will see a variety of upper extremity conditions including post surgical and acute injuries. Diagnoses commonly seen include fractures, Dupuytren's, flexor and extensor tendon repairs, biceps repairs, CTR, cubital tunnel and other nerve injuries, arthritis, ligament injuries, mallet/boutonniere injuries, and open wounds. You will provide individualized services to patients to improve occupational performance and functional outcomes. Candidates must have good splinting skills and manual therapy techniques.

Qualifications:

We Require

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy with 6 month clinical internship
Washington State Occupational Therpay License
CPR Certification

Additional knowledge and skill requirements: working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, wound healing, and disease progression; an understanding of the base components, both physical and cognitive, of ADLs (assisted daily living) and levels of ADL independence; the ability to customize, adapt, and graduate to a home or work site environment or to adapt to a given treatment plan and equipment; and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
