Select Medical complies with state and federal wage and hour laws. Compensation depends upon candidate's years of experience and internal equity. 

Salary Range (Depending on Years of Experience) $80,080.00 - $108,492.00

Responsibilities:

BSW Rehab at Dallas N. Washington Ave is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team in an adult OP setting. The ideal candidate would be a Certified Hand Therapist or have a desire to train and pursue specialization and certification in CHT. The candidate will collaborate with the OT and PT teams in-house and have a desire for teaching and mentoring others inside and outside the local clinic. Experience and a desire to develop splinting skills would be required. We primarily treat orthopedic injuries and conditions but also some high-level neurologic conditions on occasion. We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to develop relationships with our established as well as new and potential referral sources.

* Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
* Patient Case Load Average: 8-10 patients a day
* Timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source
* Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
* Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
* Promoting continuous quality improvement
* Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
* Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
* Hand Therapy Certification
* Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
* Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients
