Overview: NovaCare Rehabilitation in Moon Twp, PA is seeking a full-time COTA! NovaCare Rehabilitation in the Moon Twp, PA area has an immediate need for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team Mon-Fri approximately 32-40 hours/week between a few of our outpatient clinics in Moon Twp, Sewickley and Aliquippa, PA. The COTA will work with our CHT and provide treatment to hand therapy patients. Best practices and evidence-based programs are utilized for individualized patient care. Our clinics are fully equipped to provide care to patients ranging from post-surgical, non-operative to work conditioning. Newly licensed COTAs with hand therapy rotation and COTAs with hand therapy experience are welcome to apply! MUST HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE IN HAND THERAPY Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 32-40 hours/week! We also provide physical therapy and athletic training services to professional sports teams, colleges, universities and high schools. #ACN Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Occupational Therapist, you will be treating patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses. * Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT). * Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT. * Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures. * Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services. Qualifications: Minimum requirements: * Must have successfully completed (or be eligible to complete) the NBCOT examinations for Occupational Therapy Assistants. * Possess Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state that the job is located in. * CPR Certification
