				Overview:

The Infrastructure Engineer 2 is responsible for designing building and implementing systems and solutions in support of the IT Infrastructure. The position acts as an escalation point for requests and issues related to systems and users. The Infrastructure Engineer is also tasked with identifying and implementing efficiency improvements to existing systems and solutions.

Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and implement basic technology platforms and solutions
* Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data; collaborate on and execute basic improvements to maintain and achieve high security posture
* Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvements
* Document the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders 
* Participate in audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines 
* Collaborate on best practices, standards, and processes for design and administration of systems and solutions

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Experience as a Systems Administrator
* Experience with Dynatrace preferred
* Experience working with public cloud solutions
* Experience working with virtualization technologies
*  Experience working with server operating systems
* Good oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact
* Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
* Good customer service orientation
* Good interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department
* Good attention to detail
* Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
* Experience working with Citrix, Netapp, and Linux
* Microsoft Windows or MacOS and Microsoft Office proficient
* Good knowledge of systems administration
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environments
* Up to 5% travel time required
