Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
- Assumes labor responsibility for control and operations of the gap; opens the gap to let horses on track and closes gap during races.
- Cleans, waters, and removes horse waste to ensure a clean path; disposes of waste properly.
- Responsible for safe and efficient use of tools and equipment; maintains and monitors maintenance of equipment as needed.
- Attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of new trends and innovations in the field of maintenance.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
