Responsibilities:

About This Position

In keeping with Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Office Coordinator, Pain Management supports and promotes the provision of quality patient care. Actively participates as a team member in the systems, functions, and activities of the unit/department. Performs general clerical duties. Serves as communication center for Pain Management Department. Performs scheduling and billing functions. Performs basic clinical duties under direct supervision of physician.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Six (6) months recent office and clinical experience in a patient-care setting.
* Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English, clearly, concisely, and accurately.
* Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Demonstrates knowledge of the principles, standard practices, procedures and equipment utilized in office management. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures.
* Self-motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills.
* Reacts calmly and efficiently in emergencies and unpredictable situations.
