Our comprehensive benefits include: * Medical, dental and vision * Short- and long-term disability * PayOUT daily pay option* * Life insurance * Tuition reimbursement and discounts * Paid time off * 401(k) retirement savings plan * Flexible Spending Account (FSA) * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) * Employee discounts Responsibilities: * Develop and implement goal-directed treatment plans for assigned patients utilizing in-depth evaluation and physician orders * Establish realistic, objective functional goals based on patient/caregiver goals and overall discharge plan * Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, OT students, and OTA students on a routine basis * Educate patients/caregivers on occupational therapy services, treatment procedures, and treatment goals * Prepare for client discharge in a timely, thorough manner, including patient/caregiver education, home visit, recommendations for home modifications and equipment needs, and procurement of recommended equipment * Maintain a working knowledge of and adherence to Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Code of Ethics * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: * B.S. or M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution or B.S./M.S. degree in related field with an Occupational Therapy certification from an accredited institution * Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas required * Current CPR certification required * Must pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
