Clinical Nurse - Community Hospital of San Bernardino
At Community Hospital of San Bernardino, our nurses are the heart of our mission to provide compassionate and high-quality care. We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering total patient care using the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our diverse patient population.
Whether you are assessing new admissions, coordinating discharge planning, or responding to complex medical needs, your clinical judgment, critical thinking, and compassionate presence will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. This position offers opportunities for leadership, including acting as charge nurse, and supports professional development in a supportive and team-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Perform assessments, develop care plans, and carry out evidence-based nursing interventions across various patient conditions
* Monitor and interpret diagnostic data, recognize early signs of complications, and act promptly in emergency situations
* Administer medications, including narcotics and blood products, with precision and safety
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and communicate changes in patient condition
* Support patient and family education, ensuring understanding of diagnoses, treatments, and care after discharge
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation, and uphold all hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:
* Two (2) years experience as an RN
* One (1) year and six (6) months experience in acute care nursing preferred.
* California Registered Nurse (RN) License
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification,
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
