MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Because of its central location, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, the vineyards of Napa Valley, and the historical Gold Rush towns of the foothills are all within easy driving distance. #HEC Responsibilities: Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Great opportunity for someone looking for more work-life balance! * Incoming physicians would be based out of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento * Hospital does approximately 1800 births/year * 24 hour back-up Ob on-call. * Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts. * Additional compensation provided for doing additional shifts. * Level II nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center * Shareholder track opportunity * Generous compensation and benefits * Sign on bonus and moving bonus available for full time applicants * Employer provided tail insurance. * Active board certification required. * Compensation Range: $330,000- $339,000 plus bonuses. Qualifications: * MD or DO degree * Board-Certified in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA) * Active California medical license (or ability to obtain) * DEA certification * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills * Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
