Overview: OB Hospitalist Position - Scottsdale, AZ Responsibilities: Pediatrix(r) & Obstetrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to join our well-established community-based obstetric program at HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for OB physicians seeking focused obstetric care, predictable scheduling, and a strong balance between professional fulfillment and quality of life. OB Hospitalist Position Overview This role is 100% obstetrics-focused, allowing providers to concentrate exclusively on high-quality maternal care in a busy, well-supported hospital environment. OB Hospitalist Key Responsibilities & Program Highlights * OB Hospitalist-only coverage - no gynecologic duties * Seven 24-hour in-house shifts per month, offering predictable scheduling and extended time off * Level III hospital with comprehensive obstetric services * Approximately 6,000 deliveries annually * Provide evaluation and management of obstetric patients in a robust OB Emergency Department * Care for unassigned obstetric patients and support community OB physicians * Assist with cesarean deliveries as needed * Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, timely, high-quality care This position is ideal for OB Hospitalist physicians who enjoy hospital-based obstetrics, teamwork, and contributing to consistent, reliable coverage in a thriving maternity program.
