As a Nutritionist at Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) you will oversee all aspects of the Center's nutrition services and programs to include menu preparation and delivery, managing individual nutritional needs, compliance with the National School Nutrition Program protocols, meeting USDA guidelines, and providing client, family, and staff nutrition education.

* Oversee nutrition services for residential and school programs on the Malvern and West Chester campuses
* Manage compliance requirements for National School Nutrition Program

* Collaborate with medical team to ensure individual nutrition needs of each student is met

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required. Registered Dietitian and Licensed Nutritionist in Pennsylvania
Experience: Minimum of two years of experience. Experience as a clinical dietitian and experience in education and working with behaviorally challenged children and adolescents preferred. Experience with Federal programs such as the NSNP preferred. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office applications and data collecting/analyzing platforms (My Avatar, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task, to maximize efficiency. Strong oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
Valid driver's license must be maintained
